EYE OF THE UNIVERSE / Oil Painting by Neha Bisht @nehab / Impresssionism /

There are only two night sky paintings I have painted till this date. Both are part of the collection I am working on.

The first is “Romancing the Night” .

This one is “Eye of the Universe” .

I am not much of a night sky artist. But I definitely want to explore this atmosphere of the night sky and do a series on it.

Both my night sky paintings were a kind of exploratory and a experimental work.
Of course I had a few visuals to refer to. But more or less, I was just going with the flow.

This particular Painting “Eye of the Universe”, is unique to me. I had “Aurora Borealis” and it’s mystical quality in the back of my mind.

For me “Aurora Borealis” is a silent song and a silent dance of the Universe.

It is as though the stage is set, spotlight is turned on, audience is gathered and the beautiful show of Mystical Lights begins !!

Each song is unique, each dance is unique, each show is unique. Never to be replicated.

My experience too was a little mystical and unique while painting “Eye of the Universe”.

I went with the drift of my mind and moved the brush and picked the paints. When I finished it , and saw it from a distance, I realised that I had created a kind of “eye” in the centre.

When I look at it keenly, The "eye" & the area around it, takes on some form. Like it happens with Aurora Borealis.
The “eye” in the “milky way” is kind of dynamic. It changes sense and direction when you look at it for a long time.

I find it very fascinating.

So much arrogance and selfishness that dot possesses. And why ?
Thus asks the Eye of Universe !! "
