Holbox Island (Mexico): Quintana Roo's Quiet Paradise
On April 17, 2017, we arrived at Holbox in Messico
After leaving the island of Cozumel we head to another Caribbean island: Holbox Island
A LOVE, a candy
The island is small and is completely with unpaved roads.
All white and dusty.
The only means they trust are golf cars and motorcycles
Wonderful dive back in time
Here we were literally greeted by the birds that made us a jumble over our heads.
In the evening you dance quietly on the streets: go to "suave site"
The sea here on Holbox Island is very low
The colors of the water are gorgeous and as I walk in the water the fish fly around me
I love the Caribbean Sea
Holbox Island's lanes are full of very special shops
The sale of "hammocks" in the first place
Walking around Holbox's dusty alleys
This island has a very special charm.
The atmosphere is very quiet and relaxed
On Holbox Island, the watch becomes an accessory no longer indispensable and the rhythms are marked by nature: it is the best place to learn from Mexicans what is relaxation
What better place to do "desajuno" (breakfast)
At their market !!
Egg in Mexican (eggs + onions + peppers) and beans
We are light at breakfast
The colors abound in every room here on Holbox Island
When the sun rises around the beach there are only some fishermen who network the net.
Birds come from the nearby islands to play fishing in the sea that is green and blue
Beautiful specimens of "Royal Sterna"
There is nothing better than wandering on the long Holbox beach in the early morning, spending the afternoons between a hammock's siesta under the palms and a bath
You get used to Mexican rhythms soon
I love Mexico
The Caribbean Sea is so clear that you encounter a wonderful coral while walking on the beach is very easy
This island retains a natural, wild and unspoilt charm.
Now let's go find its waters
Traveling is one of the most beautiful activities you can do
Mexico is a fascinating place full of beauties to discover: one of these is Holbox Island.
As soon as we arrived we threw our slippers because the sand roads are perfect for barefoot walking.
The island of Holbox is a paradise far from civilization and free from the slavery of cars
The village has only 1,500 inhabitants living in wooden houses.
Walking around the island of Holbox: an unknown paradise
Good! Our stay in Mexico is coming to an end ... Let's leave this wonderful island to return to the mainland.
We ship the car to Cancun and choose instead to sleep here to make a leap to Isla Mujeres to greet our friends and enjoy some more days on the Mexican island dedicated to women.
On April 21, 2017 we are waiting for the airport at Cancun airport that will make us fly for a new adventure !!
I'm around you fly for CUBA !!! At the Rhythm of Salsa ... See you in the ...
Thank you Mexico !!! Wonderful adventure lasting 4 months
