Hello dear kids and members of steemkids community, my heart is filled with joy as I have achieved another milestone in my steemit Journey. My journey to achieve 50k sp has finally been achieved after powering up 727 steem.

The result of Untiring consistency is is usually amazing 😍😍😍. Today, I want to announce my Achievement.

My Journey

My journey here on steemit has been a wonderful one though not without difficulties. Certain qualities have been helpful to me and they can help you as well. I want to list them

  • Give more and expect less: this is similar to the words of the greatest man who ever lived when he said that whoever wants to save his life will loose it and whoever looses his life for my sake will get it back. This statement sounds impossible but it is the simple fact. We all know that upvotes are not guaranteed and as such, it is not possible for all your publications to receive support. But when you are actively publishing content irrespective of the rewards, at a time, you will start experiencing the positive results. I am a witness to that fact and when you try it out, you will reap the benefits. Don't always think of what you will gain but what you can contribute.

  • Untiring consistency: Don't give up hope. There is always light at the end of the tunnel. When the going seems rough and hard, the end is always easier. Good things will always locate those who don't give up hope. Do not allow anyone to discourage you. What didn't work out for one person doesn't mean it will not work out for you. It all depends on the approach. @patjewell on e wrote in one of her articles that every business is profitable. It all depends on you. Steemit is my business and am not tiring out at all and I don't expect you to tire out as well. Be willing to adapt to changes because steemit is dynamic in nature. New updates that calls for change comes up from time to time.

  • Humility: self improvement can only come from learning from others and you can only learn if you are humble. Focus on improving yourself in terms of quality contents. I am still learning as it stands and there is no end to learning. Being humble enough to learn will keep you going because you will always have something new to learn.
  • Be willing to help others. Steemit is made up of different individuals. Some have advanced in knowledge while others are still new born. Whatever level you find yourself, you can always be helpful to others. When you read publications and notice any need for the user to improve, don't hastate to tell the user. Though some may not accept but you must have done your part.
  • Be open minded and accept everyone no matter their country or race. Your help may come from anyone at all. You may find yourself being bonded with someone that you don't expect simply because you share the same goal and aspirations which you only got to know because you are open minded.
  • Be willing to follow the rules and don't complain unless you have a valid reason for that. There is no point biting the finger that you know that is feeding you. You are free not to follow rules but you simply will not expect anything from the one that gave the rules. So long as you are dependent on the rule giver, please follow the rules, even if it's not working out, there is always time for review.

Haha, I think I will have to stop here. I have many more qualities that have been very helpful to me and I will keep dishing them out in due course.

My powerup

I have the custom of always powering up my weekly earnings. I am in club75 and as such, I only take out my 25% and most times less than that. I just did the same. I powered up 727 steem today and that brought my steempower to 40k. It is just a miracle because I never expected it to be complete this week. Am glad it happen. See the screenshot of the power up I made below 👇👇👇

And my total steempower is shown in the screenshot below 👇👇👇

That is what has landed me to 8X dolphin 🐬🐬🐬🐬🐬🐬🐬🐬. Amazing!

Why I am Consistently Building My Steempower

  • I need to support other users with upvotes

  • I need to support communities with delegation

  • I need to contribute to steemgrowth. This is because the more I hold my earnings in steempower, the the greater the value steem will have in the market and if all of us should do the same, then steem price will rise significantly

  • I want to always have a step or two forward such that whatever new rule that may come up tomorrow, I will fit in. Take for instance the advent of club initiative. If I hadn't the habit of powering up my steem, it would have been difficult for me to fit in as soon as the update was made. It wasn't difficult for me to join the club because I was already in the club, I only needed to level up to club75 which was not too difficult.

And so many other reasons. Please be willing to hold your earnings in steempower so that you too can contribute to steemgrowth.

Conclusion

I have been able to share with you all a little of how I got to this point with a space of 1 year and 9 months. I joined July, 2020.

I have shown you all the powerup I did and how I achieved 40k sp. The next target is Orca which is 50k sp. I don't know how long it will take but let's see how it goes.

I am grateful to all who have contributed in one way or the other to my growth. I pray for good things to you all. @steemcurator01 thank you so much, it is your support that brought me this far. I will keep doing my best.

Friends, let's see how it goes! Congratulations 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 to me and us all.
