....Now appoint for us a king to judge us like all the other nations.” 6 But it displeased Samuel when they said: “Give us a king to judge us.” Then Samuel prayed to Jehovah, 7 and Jehovah said to Samuel: “Listen to everything the people say to you; for it is not you whom they have rejected, but it is I whom they have rejected as their king. (1st Samuel 8:5-7)

Ever since man decided to rule themselves, it has been one problem or the other. Man has experimented one form of government or the other to enable them achieve peace, all to no avail.

To be honest, most human rulers have been doing their best as humans, but they still experience one problem or the other because they are simply man and not God. This has proven the words of a wise man to be true who says:

I well know, O Jehovah, that man’s way does not belong to him. It does not belong to man who is walking even to direct his step. (Jeremiah 10:23)

How true these words are! Man can never succeed when it comes to rulling his fellow man because he cannot rule himself successfully.

However, so long as the Almighty still permits man to rule themselves, they will keep trying their best. All we need is fairness in rulership and not perfection.

I have seen some very honest rulers who still fail but all the same, to man, they are the best. This has just bring me to the main topic of this contest, Welcome Mr/Mrs President, We need a Manifesto from you, What should we Expect?

Because a lot of rulers have been trying their best it's time for me to go for it, go ooooo @ngoenyi! Yes, I am here to rule. Before I give you my manifesto, I will like to let you know some teething problems that I will like to address.

My country is Nigeria which is in Africa. We are practicing Democratic system of Government which is the government of the people, for the people and by the people. It is a system of government that allows power to be with the people. This means that the rulership will be such that benefits the people.

The current state of the country

I have been able to identify the following problems in my country:

• The power is not with the people but with the few rulers. This has made the people's cries for help not to be heard.

• The kids are not being cared for. Every child deserve to be paid a stipend for being a citizen of Nigeria. Because this has been neglected, much burdens have been placed on the parents who in most cases have nothing to care for this kids. This in turn has driven them to pursue wealth, thereby negating the kids to make decisions on their own or just follow their peers head on. The families have failed and as such they can not make or form a healthy society.

• Agriculture is not massively supported else, there should have been equipments for mechanized farming at a reduced price by the government if not for outright purchase it will be for lease which can be made available for the common man to encourage peasant farmers.

• Tax free SMEs ( small and medium scale enterprises). The SMEs are taxed heavily or will say more than the well established companies. Once the SMEs spring up, they will be subdued in no time. There is no enabling environment for their survival.

• Nigerians are hardworking already, all they need is basic amenities like power supply, good road and housing. These has been major problems of the people which have been hard to meet.

Why I Think I Will Be Suitable For The Position Of A President

• I am selfless and because of this, the power will be rested on the people and not on me. Their needs will be met so long as it doesn't contradict equity and natural justice.

• I am not autocratic and as such, I will not demand respect but I will earn the respect.

Identify the most pressing problems that you citizens are facing and try to proffer solutions to them

Small and medium scale enterprises

° It is true that some administrations do make provisions that will favour this section of the economy, but those provisions most times do not get to them. The provisions are in most cases hijacked before it gets to them.

Additionally, the small and medium scale enterprises are highly taxed that they go into extinct before you know it due to lack of liquidity. They don't even break even talk more of making profits.

Solution:

Since the citizens of my country are hard working and they like producing things on their own, I will enact laws that will favour them. The taxes that they will pay will be reduced to encourage them at their early stage. The well established companies will be made to pay higher than the small enterprises.

° Most of the kids here in Nigeria are roaming on the streets. Some are Hawking while some are homeless. If they don't grow into responsible adults, they can not make up a healthy society which will in turn not make for a healthy country.

Solution:

The kids that are left just at the mercy of their parents will be included in the payroll where they will receive monthly stipends to assist them take care of themselves, thus, reducing the pressure on the parents who will then focus on the moral training of the kids and any parents who can not raise a responsible children will been made to undergo the training.

Do you have any innovations you are bringing in?

I will introduce and make available farming equipments at an affordable prices to the peasant farmers. This will increase production that will be enough for the citizens. What I will do will be to only receive payment from the farmers from their produce and not at the beginning. It means that they will have access to loans. I will also make sure I give stipends to the farmers too to encourage them.

There will be a home for children who are less previllaged, managed by the government and properly supervised to ensure that those kids are well taken care of.

I will ensure that the power will be rested and vested on the people by listening to their cry for help. I will ensure that they will have the basic amenities which is housing, good road and power supply. I will like to build estates for the people which they can have ownership of after little requirements are met. I will rule to benefit the people.

Conclusion

I have been able to identify why man is having challenges in rulership no matter how hard they try.

I have so been able to identify the teething problems that the people in my country is facing

I have pointed how how I will succeed as Mrs president and some innovations I will introduce.

I strongly believe that I will to the extent possible, succeed as a ruler if I apply all the strategies I have mentioned above.

I therefore call on @dwarrilow, @klen.civil and @mile16 to state their own manifestos. These are from different countries and I will like to hear them out.
