The dairy game season 3. 29/08/2021
Greetings beautiful people, its been a great week and today I will love to share my working experience with you guys. I work in MTN Cameroon in douala as we all know, one of the biggest telecom company of our time specifically the data quality department.
We all know that office work last from Mondays to Fridays and weekends are used for resting. But guess what guys it's not the case with the department I work in. It's true some people follow the normal trend but some of us don't regularly. But then, everyone has 5 working days and two resting days which must not necessarily be weekends. You can imagine getting up on a Sunday morning and instead of preparing for church, you have to prepare for work. It's fun at times but most times, it really feels weird, and that's equally because I will be working today. The 11am to 8pm shift.
We have 5 different shifts we follow and that's because we intend to make customers satisfied and happy. Have you ever wondered why your number goes through 24/7 and why you always have people to attend to you when you call the service desk, thats equally because the company runs 24/7 and the different working shifts are there to help us meet up with the 24 hours that make up a day.
Trust me there is always something to be done and that is why we work up till Sundays. Like I mentioned earlier, we have 5 different shifts. The people who start the day always start at 7 am to 4pm, second shift 8am to 5pm,third shift from 10 am to 7pm, fourth shift from 11 am to 8pm and the last shift which is the night shift starts from 8pm to 7 am the next morning and when the are about leaving, the 7am shift is already there to take over. So you see we have 9 working hours for each shift, except the night shift which runs for 11 hours.
So for today, I will end here guys and next time I will share the night shift experience because it's the most craziest shift we have and I will be starting the night shift tomorrow, since it's a new week and that's because for every new week, everyone has a new shift to dive into. So you may find yourself doing the 4 or 5 different shifts the whole month depending on how many weeks that particular shift has. Catch you guys and have a nice day while I continue with work
