christianity-The Power of Prayer
The Power of Prayer is, simply, the power of God, who hears and answers our prayers.
Consider the following:
1.The Lord Almighty God can all; there is nothing impossible for Him (Luke 1:37).
2. The Lord God Almighty invites his people to speak to him in prayer. Prayer to God must be offered persistently (Luke 18: 1), with thanksgiving (Philippians 4: 6), with faith (James 1: 5), within the will of God (Matthew 6:10), for the glory of God (John 14: 13-14), and with a right heart before God (James 5:16).
3. The Lord God Almighty listens to the prayers of his children. He commands us to pray, and he promises to listen when we do it. "In my distress I called on the Lord, and I cried out to my God. He heard my voice from his temple, And my cry came before him, to his ears. (Psalm 18: 6)
4. The Lord Almighty God answers the prayers. "I have invoked you, because you will hear me, O God; Bow down to me your ear, hear my word "(Psalm 17: 6). "The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles" (Psalm 34:17).
Another popular idea is that the amount of faith we have determines whether God answers or does not answer our prayers. However, the Lord sometimes responds to prayers despite our lack of faith. In Acts 12, the Church prays for Peter's release from prison (verse 5), and God answers his prayer (verse 7-11). Peter approaches the place of the prayer meeting and knocks on the door, but at the beginning, those who are praying refuse to believe that it is Peter in truth. They prayed for their freedom, but failed to wait for an answer to their prayers.
The power of prayer is based on He who listens and answers our prayer. Prayer puts us in touch with Almighty God, and we must expect powerful results, whether He chooses to grant our requests or not, whether to deny our request, or ask us to wait on Him. Whatever the answer to our prayers, the God to whom we pray is the source of all power, and He can answer us and will do it, according to his will and perfect schedule.
The only weapon of a true Christian is prayers, the Bible said we must do so without getting tired
Amen. God bless you more. Brother
