STEEM CHURCH-God teaches us to grow spiritually ......
Any good parent wants to spend time with their children; sometimes with all of them together, but sometimes with each one in a particular way. This is how one person comes to know another person deeply: by spending time alone with her.
The best way to know your heavenly Father is by spending time alone with Him. You can do this by reading His Word and talking to Him in prayer.
LISTENING TO GOD: READING HIS WORD
"How can the young man lead a whole life? Living according to your word ... In my heart I treasure your words so as not to sin against you. "
- Psalm 119: 9, 11

As you read the Bible, meditate on what she says. To meditate means to think seriously about spiritual things. It means thinking detained, serene and deeply in God: how merciful he is, how many beautiful things he did for you, what he will do for you, and what he wants you to do for him. By reading the Bible and meditating, you will be able to meet :
- a special promise for you
- an orientation for the decisions of the day
- a mandate to follow
- a sin or a spiritual need in your life that suddenly becomes very evident
- a verse that speaks to you in a special way and that you will want to memorize
SPEAKING WITH GOD: PRAYER
"This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that God hears all our prayers, we can be sure that we already have what we have asked for. "
- 1 John 5: 14-15

After a time of reading and meditating, talk to God in prayer. Talk to him as he would talk to an earthly father or mother who loves you and who knows you want the best for you, and who wants to help you in every way possible.
Whatever the time of day, be constant and disciplined in your encounter with God. Jesus got up early to pray and went to a quiet place (Luke 5:16).
A GUIDE FOR PRAYER
Maybe you do not know exactly what to talk about with God. These suggestions may help you:
He can praise him for what he is: the creator and sustainer of the universe who, even so, is interested in each one of us!
You can thank him for everything he has done, what he does and what he has promised to do for you.
You can recognize before Him those things that you did, said or thought, and of which you repent. God tells us that he wants and can forgive us our sins (1 John 1: 9).
Maybe you think that this Post is common, but in things as common as these, is where the first Love is cooling. We must not leave that Communion with our Father.
