ACTIVITIES AS A COUNTRY REPRESENTATIVE WITHIN THE WEEK (09/03 - 18/03)

Greetings steemit team,

I would like to present my weekly report on the activities I did as the country representative of Ghana. Working hand in hand with my colleague reps to help the growth of our ghanaian community is my top priority on steemit is something I hold in high esteem on the platform. By doing so we are able to increase activeness as well as improve retention within our community.

This Week's Activities

I have been spending lots of time trying to provide a good amount of guidance to our Ghanaian steemians while trying to sustain the world of football community. I have now reported to campus and currently working on my project work on campus which is why I happened to miss that of my previous week's report. I therefore sincerely apologize for that.

COMMUNITY TELEGRAM MEETING

It is very important for us to keep up with our community members and check on their wellbeing. This is because at times, some of our members need some extra guidance and support, especially the newcomers. I therefore made it a point to organize a telegram meeting for the entire community so we can discuss pertinent issues concerning our community. We even had the pleasure of receiving our friends from Nigeria.

CONTESTS & CHALLENGES

Contest is one of the best ways to keep our community active and thriving at all times. It always helps users to get a subject to write on which will help increase the active membership we have in our community. To help with this, I have presented another contest for our steemians to participate. This is centered on how steem has improved upon our lives as steemians.

CONTINUES POWER UP ACTIVITY

I made it a point to continue my power up activity as I strive to achieve the club100 status. This way, I can be able to really build my account in order to support our steemians in the community. For the past month, all my steem earnings were powered up which is helping to get a step closer to achieving my goal. I know that if we all take this seriously, we can grow more effectively as a community.

NEWBIE SUPPORT AND GUIDANCE

I follow our newbies on the platform so that I can work with them and correct the mistakes they make at all times. The various mistakes I may come across, I am sure to correct them. This is because, without guidance it will be very difficult for them to grasp a full understanding of how the steemit ecosystem functions and may not be able to render any support to any steemian they may also bring on board in the future. You can see some examples of me rendering support to some of our newcomers below.

PERSONAL CURATION ACTIVITIES

I make a point on a regular basis to to visit various posts trooping in from our steemians. After which I cast a vote and leave a comment or feedback. These curation activities are usually centered on communities with significant ghanaian population or where our steemians are concentrated such as Steem Ghana and the Promo Steem so that no one gets left out. Newcomers are also being guided to be able to complete their achievement tasks for a better understanding of the platform.

FUTURE ACTIVITIES

We are very focused on helping to boost our community support as well as the curation power of our community and will be providing various pinned posts to that effect. I will continue checking up on steemians and working with them to help better their stay on the platform.

I will also continue working closely with our steemians to also ensure they have no difficulties on the platform as well.

I will always give my best to support our members on the steemit ecosystem and would be working with my fellow country reps to better improve our community.
