I was checking profiles around and in @ambiguity 's I found this post about Vets taking their lifes

I come from a country where the military is in the wrong side of the law, but I have never lost sight that a soldier, a real one is a person who RISKS his LIFE so you don't have to risk yours...

The army of my country used to be called: freedom smith because back in the 1800's fought for independency and freedom of what is today south america.

It was not a conquering army, it was a liberating army...

Sadly today in the hands of corrupt drug dealers and criminals, turning their weapons against our people.

But this has nothing to do with the fact that a SOLDIER takes arms because believes in what he is doing is right, most soldiers at least.

They are put in harms way defending what might be the wrong or the right side of heaven, I am aware of all the suffering and misery that Duty and Action bring to the VETS minds, a constant torture when back to civvy live, constantly asking yourself upon seeing today's world inequalities: Is this what i was defending? / Was this worth fighting for

Soldiers are NOT disposable heros!

The greatest general in history (and the smallest one ironically) understood this more than 300 years ago, Napoleon built Le hotel des Invalides

A huge palace and hospital in the center of Paris so his veterans were not left behind civilian live, so they had a meeting place that provided care and home, where they could find solace in a civilian peaceful world.

Don't ignore your vets, don't dismiss them as burnt out tortured souls... Whoever has seen action lives peace in a living hell...
