THE DIARY GAME: A VISIT TO THE IGWE'S PALACE (3/2/2025)
It's a beautiful Monday morning, lovely steemians! Hope you enjoyed your weekend, steemians? I enjoyed mine as well. So I woke up early today as I had to meet up with time so as to join the morning assembly in school today. Thank God I was able to meet up. We are planning to host a sports competition anytime soon, today was awareness day, that is, a day to create awareness to the community that we will be holding an event soon. So, I quickly prepared for school, I had to wear my khaki, that is, the NYSC uniform. And I stepped out elegantly.
A picture of I and my student as we were about embarking on the cross-country activity.
"Igwe" is the name given to a traditional ruler in Igbo-land. The Igwe is the one incharge of the school where I am serving, it's a community school. On our way, we had to pay the Igwe a visit.
Here I am at the Igwe's palace. Rate my look over 100. Smile.
This is the Igwe of the community where I'm serving with the principal addressing us, the students and staff of Community Secondary School. He said he's so happy to meet with us and he also offered to pay the exams fee of the senior secondary school 3 students. The students were so happy and excited and also full of thanks to the Igwe.
Behold the happy faces of the students. All thanks to the Igwe. His visit has been a blessing. Thank you for reading! See you next time!
