The Diary Game || 27-04-24 || Lifestyle Of A Typical Nigerian Village Boy In The Village

As a typical Nigerian village boy, I woke this morning to hear some bleats from my goats and all I decided to do to keep them quiet and enjoy my peace was fend for them, I went out to get for them some leaves and I was lucky enough to discover a gmelina tree that was trimmed from the top, so I didn't have to go fetch some elephant grass that is normally very reactive to my skin. The more I approached the goats with the fetched leaves the more their bleating increased, this time it was an excitement, and maybe their appetite was increasing. Billy's husband, after being well-fed, attacked me with his horn. He loves to play a lot.

I played for a while and went ahead to feed my rabbit, being silent of hunger is not all rosy, you can eventually die of hunger. Rabbits are wonderful animals that don't cry even when they are hungry. That is why I chose them as my best pet. Comparing them with other animals is not the best option because all of these were created differently. So rabbits don't eat gmelina so I fetched a cover crop for it and that will be enough for the day since it was only one rabbit I was feeding.

As part of my daily routine, I went to wash plates. The plates were so plentiful, the numerous numbers resulting from a little celebration in the village, a get-together prompted by the Easter celebration. Everyone overstayed their holiday so the chief planner(our parents) decided to merge it with a get-together. It's always a time for family to reunite, understand each other, and make better plans for the future

Still, that same day I proceeded to create a contest and the contest was all about the production of drinks, homemade drinks that can reduce the effect of heat in the body and the drink I showcase as one that can boost the body in excessive heat conditions is the ZOBO drink and this drink is so tasty. I made a collection of hibiscus flowers which are used in the preparation of this drink. It is normal that after the process it will be bitter, so sweeteners are added like strawberry flavors, ginger, sugar, etc. I didn't forget to refrigerate it so that the hot temperature can subside.

I rested a bit and the next thing I did was get some firewood from our wood farm, the firewood I got was that which would not produce too much smoke, and that was gmelina, so I cut some branches that had been left for some period to dry off and I remember I hard lecture the next day so I had to make some preparation to leave to my home and from home to the town where I lounge, it was a night journey of around 19:00 UTC.
