FEAR IS DANGEROUS

One dangerous thing to accommodate in your life is fear. Fear when allowed in, comes to drain your peace and joy. Fear is a spirit and it comes like a tornado seeking to overwhelm you and make you tremble. It comes seeking for you to be on the run when no one is pursuing. It comes to magnify your weaknesses, giving you no stamina to confront your challenges. It comes telling you, you are not able when you have not even seen what is on ground.

As equipped as you are for the day of battle, fear will make you turn back and run before your enemies on the day of battle. Fear is as bad as the devil; fear like the devil, is totally bad. It is nothing to invite, it is nothing to ponder on, it is nothing to accommodate. Fear has no point whatsoever to make; if you seek to understand the points it is making, it will get you under and usher you into the disdainful hall of reproach.

Fear is to be resisted with every fiber of your being. You must not allow it take any hold on your mind, not even in its smallest form. Fear does not really come “big”; it comes little by little and the Bible warns for you to be on the watch out; because “a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump” Galatians 5:9. You are not to toil with any thought or anything that brings fear; fear is the personification of the devil.

Fear, simply put is the devil in person. You are handle anything or any thought that brings fear as if you are dealing with the devil in person. You are to give him the resistance of his existence and you will see fear fizzle out: “Resist the devil and he will flee from you” James 4:7.

Eve sought a dialogue with the devil in the Garden of Eden and she was drowned. Refuse to dialogue with the spirit of fear in whatever it suggests. Combat fear with your faith in God and His Word. Faith is a much higher spirit than the spirit of fear. When the spirit of faith is in operation in your heart, the spirit of fear will fizzle out.

Faith and fear cannot cohabit. If on your own, you choose to give the spirit of fear a chance, faith will take its leave, because the Spirit of God will not always strive with man. Insist on having it as God says it is, believe it exactly as God has told you and it will be a shame for the devil and his cohorts.
