What's Your Dream Child?

A little illustration of the importance of a goal that is considered ordinary, but really extraordinary.

"What's your dream, son?"

"I want to be a Doctor, a Captain, a Pilot, a Captain, a Minister, a Governor, a Mayor, an Entrepreneur, a General, a Police, a Designer and a Teacher." Instantly the class echoes with the utterance of their dreams.

These ideas we often hear from the innocent children's mouths. Really I am very happy when Indonesian children pocket their ideals like that. Simply put, the kids are smart and dare to dream big.

Another positive thing, Indonesia must be aware that this country Mother Earth has a generation who have a dream. Though tomorrow or the day after the dreams will change instantly. The sudden change of dreams or ideals is not their fault, it's just that they start adjusting to the suddenly changing circumstances and environment.

Seeing the enthusiasm of the children in expressing her dreams, so I want to ask again. As if to make this class really echo loudly, so the class next to hear what is going on here. "What else would that be?" I continued.

The whole class fell silent. Stare at his buddy. Look at each other. Slowly, a corner boy raises his hand, while softly with a hesitant intonation. "I want to be a farmer, ma'am." Immediately all the children in the room looked at the little boy who had just expressed his ideas.

A long breath is felt.

Seeing a face that is flat in the content of all the children in the class, "it seems something is implied from them," I said to myself.

"Perhaps among them, there are those who consider being a farmer is an old-fashioned, plebeian and not classy ideal. Though farmers are not low and not respectable ideals. When a farmer is well polished, given high science and education that is a muddle, then he will become a very lucrative farmer for all human beings on this earth," the longest explanation in this heart.

I swiftly said, "My children, all of you are wonderful. Nice. Mom is very happy to hear your dreams. Well, I want to say that whatever your ideas or dreams you with prayer and learning. "Insha Allah, will be achieved.

So also with the dream of becoming a farmer. Being a farmer is a very noble job. Because why? Because by becoming a farmer then the primary needs (human staple food) we are all met.

Mum taste, without our farmers all who are in this room cannot meet today. Know, we can not live without them; farmers.

Applause was heard immediately. All the children cheered. Happy. Really very passionate about reaching their ideals.

This story is just an illustration of the author. But find out for yourself the truth and the facts about how farmers live in Indonesia!

In short, whatever our ideals are, let's be realized together. Continue to contribute positively to the nation and the nation.
