OCD DAILY - Issue #409

Welcome to the 409th issue of @OCD Daily!

Issue #409 highlights content from seven (7) Steemit Content Creators! The OCD team continues its search throughout Steemit to find you the undervalued gems, as provided by relatively new users.

Today our curators found seven (7) new pieces of original content! We strive to find works that are created by newer Steemit users, that may not have the audience with which to share their quality content. @OCD strives to help provide that audience and intends to showcase Steemit users who put in the extra effort to create creative, original content.

The @OCD nomination process

A curator will FIND a piece of work (typically from newer users). Within 24 hours that piece has been submitted from the curator to the @OCD team, curator votes are tallied, and the pieces with the most votes are included in the compilation.

We encourage you to visit these blogs and show these great Steemians your support and encouragement.

If you enjoyed their work, give them a Follow or maybe even say Hello!

All of the content chosen by our curators is undervalued, but there is always one piece that rises to the top. That piece is universally appreciated and valued by our curators making it OCD’s Top Nomination of the Day.

Our top nomination of the day is from @balticbadger

@balticbadger is writing a touching story about how he lived in the USA for years, even fought their wars, but felt something was 'missing'. He felt this most clearly when looking at the sites of the Native people from America. He went back to his ancestral homelands in Northern Europe where he is able to visit the sacred sites his ancestors lived - and explains how these lands connect with him although most traces have been erased from memory.

Today I Visited My Ancestors’ Burial Mounds

Our next nomination of the day is from @kansuze

Quebec city is probably the most beautifull city that I visited myself in North Amarica. And so I was really happy to discover this post here from @kansuze where she shows us the beautifull old city center of this Quebec. It resembles preatty much the city centers you find in Europe and is really agreeable to walk through with it big pedestrian area and the lack of big skyscraper.

Walk with me around Old Quebec ~ Day 2 of 2

Our next nomination of the day is from @thilah

A couple of very cute comic strips about thilah's desire to be 'good' and yet also a stronger inner desire to just kill everything in her path during Undertale gaming runs XD So charming, complete with adorable write up and process of creating each strip, this is a post that offers a peek into someone who's both a gamer and an artist :>

Comic(s)|Fanart(s): Pacifist Me & Genocide Duck

Our next nomination of the day is from @cagyjan

Our next nomination of the day is from @calluna

Calluna is finishing the brisby's story full of monsters and creatures, and putting them into a great battle of creatures and magic with an inevitable outcome. In order not to reveal too much I'll kindly recommend everyone to read this!

The Well (Finish The Story #65 Second Entry)

Our next nomination of the day is from @seadbeady

Do you ever wonder about alternative social apps? @seadbeady has found TATA and given it a try. (Spoiler Alert: She likes it). It's a good review and a possibility to consider.

Our next nomination of the day is from @frostyamber

@frostyamber shares updates about her homesteading life and writes about the various animals that inhabit the farm on her steem blog. In today's post, the author recounts yet another interesting day and shares photos about the happenings, and we also get to know the names of the lovely animals.
