Facebook Groups are a great place to introduce people to Steemit.
A few of us set up a Facebook Group called "Steemit Artists" .... and are slowly bringing Artists from Facebook to Steemit.

I really like this!! The more we can promote Steemit, like on Facebook the faster we will grow! I am not an artist per say..... but i have put Steemit links on Facebook.
Awesome thanks.... it is really easy to set up a Facebook Group .... get a few thousand people to join and then share your Steemit posts there.
Never worked for me! Facebook sucks.......
Yeah ... it mostly sucks.... But I set up a few Groups and over 100,000 people joined them. So a good place to share my Steemit posts.

I can see why this would work......have you come across the promo-steem tag? If you get three upvotes from community approved Steem Ambassadors and use the promo-steem tag you can an upvote from the @steem-ambassador account which has nearly 50,000 Steem Power. Steem-Ambassadors curate for high quality posts about promoting STEEM and Steemit.
