My latest Winter Watercolour Painting
It’s warming up a bit so Lola and I had a good long walk along the Frozen River yesterday.
I took a few photos along the trail and then made a small 8 x 10 watercolour on watercolour paper
My painting process :
Step One : Start with a very quick pencil sketch to place the tree line, River Edge and shore in the foreground … wet the entire page and then add a light wash of cobalt blue for the sky and shadows on snow. Add a very light wash of new gamboge yellow to the sky and snow.
Step 2,3,4 : Add the tree line in distance with mix
Of burnt umber and cobalt blue.
Add cat tales and small shrubs along the shore.
Add thin trees to foreground

Not sure what is going on with BASE. I think I will focus on Steemit and Blurt ….

If you draw with a ballpoint I have some questions since no matter the pens I use they refuse to draw. Thanks for sharing the videos!
I just draw with whatever I find in the pen and pencil drawer. No special tools
I used old pens and new ones but the ink always gives up on me. Can it be the paper or the cold?
Not sure. I just use the sketch paper in those black sketchbooks …. if pen stops working I find another one. I test it 1st on another piece of paper to make sure the ink is flowing smoothly
If I test it and write it works perfect but not if I try to draw. I always have to scratch or write at a different piece of paper to make the ink run again...
Yes. I need to do that also … I keep another pad to scribble in circles to keep the ink flowing

Nice I also have a channel with 7k subscribers. It’s an Ai faceless boxing channel. Please if you really want to make money from your channel in the future focus on only your long form content.
Shorts has really hurt my channel revenue and my long form contents no longer gain engagements because my subscribers are divided. I only have few subscribers who watch my long videos compared to my shorts, I have decided to stop posting shorts until a resets happens or the algorithm Favour’s me again. It’s really hard but I know one day things may change.

I still get lots of views and $$$$ on my Longer videos …. Especially Product reviews … that is where the big $$$$ is …. I just do shorts for fun and new Subscribers .
