What were the dreams you had in childhood for the future.

Who supported you in that dreams.

Which one of those dreams have you achieved.

If you are still a kid, what are you doing to achieve your dreams,(strictly for kids who are still aspiring to achieve their dreams)

Which one did you not achieve, What do you think went wrong?

Good day Steemians, trust you all had a great weekend, this topic is one of the topics I have been expecting, but thanks to the Steemitkids community for bringing such an interesting topic for us to talk on and I'll like us all to respond to this topic, Here is my response.

What were the dreams you had in childhood for the future.

IMG-20220724-WA0046.jpg

I grew up with my brothers and sisters together with my parents whose financial capacity wasn't that strong and the only consolation my parent had was for them to see us all grow and become something great in life, I was the last In the family of four.

While I was still a child when I understand nothing and I really have less knowledge about how the future is going to look like. All I think about is how to eat and play video games with my friends. But when I got to high school (secondary school) my orientation began to change and I begin to have dreams and visions for my future.

When I was in junior secondary school our school invited a motivational speaker to talk to us about how to choose our careers and pursue our dreams, after this lecture, I went to meet him personally and he took his time to explain a lot to me about dreams and vision, ever since I began to picture my dream in my own little way.

My first dream as a child was so numerous because of my lack of understanding of life and the movies I do watch back then made me think that life was very easy and that it will be easy to make it in life.

When I got to the senior secondary school 1, I loved anything airplanes and I dreams of becoming a Pilot or an Aeronautic engineer.

After some research as I am a very curious student, I noticed that we don't have schools really specializing in Aeronautic Engineering and so, I decided to become an electrical engineer. Since then I pursued my dream though there were so many obstacles on the way. Eventually, I gained admission to the university to study Electrical Engineering and still studying.

Who supported you in that dreams.

IMG-20220724-WA0046.jpg

Firstly, God Supported my dreams, because if God was not in support it won't even come to pass no matter the money spent, all would still be fruitless, Except the lord build the house the laborer labor in vain.

My parents were and are also a great stronghold that supported and still supporting my dreams because they really want me to become successful in life and to become a very responsible person in the nearest future that's why they put all their best just to make me happy at all time so that my dreams can come through.

Kudos!! to my brothers and sisters who were also a great support to my dreams and helped me a lot to move forward in pursuing my dreams.

Currently, I stay with my brother as he lives within my school environment, he has really been a great support for me both in encouragement and in financial aspects he has really helped me pushed my dreams even beyond whatI expected.

My sister who also resides in a far location in Nigeria has really helped me with words of advice, prayers, and also the financial aspect.

My friends also were a great support to my career both my friends in school and at home, that all have been very amazing, because in this life we need people I mean the good ones to move and achieve our goals in life, in terms of needful information and resources my friends have been so superb.

Which one of those dreams have you achieved.

IMG-20220724-WA0046.jpg

I have not yet achieved much but all are under process, the foundation of my dreams is seeing myself in a university engineering setting as a student studying Electrical Engineering, and that one is already a dream come through, though there were some problems which God made me overcome.

Which one did you not achieve, What do you think went wrong.

IMG-20220724-WA0046.jpg

I was not able to pursue my first dream which was to become a Pilot or becoming an Aeronautical engineer. Why I was not able to pursue the pilot profession because of the financial strength of my parents and no adequate facilities to study the course efficiently in my country.

When I did my research to gain admission to aviation school will be very hard because I needed connections and my school expenses for the three years is so high, that I will be spending up to 6 million nairas in a school that my parents do not have the financial capacity to pursue such goal.

For the Aeronautic engineering aspect, I mentioned earlier, our schools in Nigeria do not offer the course as at then because they don't have the necessary equipment to handle the practical aspect and we all know that engineering is about practical, the government was not ready to fund education in Nigeria and till now they are still failing in their responsibility to fund education adequately.

I am very happy that God is your first support, and then your family... it is very important to be grateful in life, and you feel that gratitude to all those who have given you support.

Although you did not fulfill your dreams of being a pilot or an aeronautical engineer, you are studying something that you also like, and those plans turned in your favor.

God bless you and I hope you can fulfill your dreams... Greetings friend!

Amen and Amen, thanks for your time and effort, and for wishing me well, I am grateful.
