It is another week and am delighted to participate in this week's contest in the steemkids community, a big greeting to all of the admin and mod for doing good work putting up such a contest topic, in this post I will be sharing my opinion about childhood and adulthood, here my opinion may not be supported but it is just the way I see it, without further ado, answers to the questions are provided below

Who is considered a child in your country? Include age

In my country Nigeria, a child is classified as a boy/girl that is still under the control of his representative, guidance, or parent, in this state of childhood, children are free from the worries of responsibilities as they are bound to be gotten everything they require, as a child all we do is have fun, do our assignments, and play with our peer, relatives, or neighbor, the state of childhood is amazing, it a state we wish we could be forever but that can't be the case as we will grow from being a child someday,

In Nigeria, a child in the childhood state ranges from 4 - 17 years of age, Children in this range has less say about their lives as they are been monitored, and controlled and decision can't be made by them, they are the responsibility of parents and guidance.

Who is considered as an adult in your country? Include age

An adult is someone that can be held responsible for his actions, it is a state of adulthood where decisions making and personal activities are carried out, an adult is someone above 18 years of age and legally can be held accountable for his action, an adult deals with responsibilities.

Adulthood is a state where there is enough maturity in a person, a state whereby you see the reality of life, where you realize there is more to life beyond playing with friends and having fun.

Although an adult Is legally said to be above 18 years, in my opinion, 20 years of age is an age where we can be more mature in our way of doing and handling things.

Childhood or Adulthood, which do you prefer?

As I have stated above the classification of adulthood and childhood, both have benefits, but I would prefer my adulthood because of many reasons, adulthood holds a lot of responsibilities, facing the reality of life and the freedom to do whatever you want, travel wherever you want, dictating your moves yourself are reasons why I love adulthood, even with the responsibilities, I will still choose my adulthood because it shape who we are and also it is a state where we can pursue our careers or dream and make money.

Give at least 3 reasons why you prefer childhood or adulthood

Freedom:-
At times we are not always satisfied with the decisions of our guidance or parent as a child,

but as an adult, we have the freedom to decide what suits us or not, we can travel from one place to another on our terms.

in this state we are not being monitored as we are the boss of our own decisions.

Experience:-
As an adult, I have learned from different experiences in life which make me who I have become today, experience they say is the best teacher, in this stage, we can learn from our mistakes or people's success or mistakes. as such we use experiences developed to make good decisions or moves in our journey of life.

No permission
We need no permission to activate our desire, if I want to attend clubs, play football games or any other activities.

I don't need permission from anybody, I don't have to wash the dished before I am entitled to the cooked food, things are being done in my way and this is also the reason why I love adulthood.

Unfortunately, I don't have a picture of my childhood on my phone, I can only share a that of my adulthood,

Growth is inevitable, even though childhood is full of fun, love, care, and affection, we will one day leave that stage and face reality.

Some wouldn't want to become a child because of their childhood experiences, our experiences matter here too, like me, I was flogged a lot, and as such I don't want my childhood anymore.

It is true many people want to become a child to run away from stress, and responsibilities but for me, I wouldn't trade my useless things to become a child.
