Need for a confirmatory page(proof reading page) before transactions proceeding

Good morning great steamians and happy new year to us all. May it be a fulfilling and accomplishing year for us all. I will be making a suggestion based on the topic "Need for a confirmatory page before transactions proceeding "

Over the days and with the introduction of a drop down menu for the Wallet and transaction page, users have unknownlingly made wrong transfers and thereby forfeiting their hard earned tokens either SBD or steem.

The drop down menu is a good innovation and an exciting one has names of users have been streamlined down but there exist some failures in this drop down. And I will not be discussing on that as few other steemians have made such contributions.

I take this page as the immediate filling form and I don't expect this to be the end. This has been the reasons for some transaction error.

I will be citing the case of a steemian here @ewuoso - who supposedly lost two funds to transaction error in the same month last year-December 2017

The transaction according to user @ewuoso was supposedly meant to be sent to his friend @harbysco but instead sent to @har and there was no reversal till this moment.

Making a comparison between steemit wallet and my bank online bank account Wallet.

The pages are quite the same because they contain almost the same format and information.

The only difference only lies that steemit wallet does not have any further page for proof reading while my online bank account does. The picture below is an example of the proof reading / confirmatory page before transaction commencement.

The arrow from the picture read thus; ."Please, Confirm your entries"

This for some time have saved me from making wrong transaction over the time and I'd like this to be adopted on steemit to prevent further lose.

A proof is a typeset version of copy or a manuscript page. They often contain typos introduced through human error.
