My insatiable desires, led me to envious acts
I became jealous of people's progress
Then I started running people's race!
The race I wasn't meant to face
Envy ate deeply into me
I was buried into it, I wasn't proud of myself again
I began to compete and compare myself;
With people who were not me
I was buried under envy
It was really heavy
If not for God's help
I would have decayed in envy
Are you not as unique as everyone else? There is no need for envy. Give no room for it.
When you envy, you rob yourself of your deserved happiness which will make you overlook your own hidden talents that would make you break your limits.
Envy doesn't look good on you. Deal with the envy in your heart because the hate in your heart would consume you too.
