Hallelujah!

As I stared deeply at life's cup
I knew I was only a pup
Who was to be fed with sup
But this cup is for a grownup

In the cup, I caught glimpse
Of the brilliant bright future
With craggy and crooked roads
A rough journey but radiant destination

Silence was all I could hear from my breath
And this made me more confused
I needed someone from somewhere or something
To mumble words into my ears, but silence was all I got

Right there as I sat in confusion
Something started plopping
Its sound, piercing through my ears
Its melody, melting my icy heart

My tied tongue loosened
And effusively whoop the victorious song
Chains broke, confusion was choked
My cup became sweeter like it's content was coke

I blared the hallelujah chorus
The craggy and crooked roads became smooth
Shadows of darkness and death, became sunny and shinny,
Victory came to abide, HALLELUJAH!

Thank you for your time.

My pen doesn't bleed, it speaks, with speed and ease.

Still me,

My tongue is like the pen of a ready writer.

I'm literary singing the song
Hallelujah
...is an heavenly language

Truly, this is one word that cuts across all the race and tribes, it has no local translation else than say that God be praised.

I love the rhyming pattern in the first stanza, I only but imagine what I have missed these few days that I didn't stop by at your poetry room.

Hahahaha. Thanks for your kind words too. This means a lot too.

Another sweet poem you give us I really enjoy what you offer

Thank you, my friend.

Hallelujah, hallelujah , hallelujah

Hahahaha. Hossana.
