SHAREthem is an open source app for android offered by Srihari Yachamaneni to send and receive files on android devices with a simple and good user interface. It's shares are receives files on Wi-Fi and Hotspot with no mobile data usage, has good features but not enough. SHAREthem can be downloaded here in the Google Play Store.

Proposal

I'm proposing to add some important features to the existing feature if Sharethem app for more user interest.

• File Categories
  File category is the list or grid view of all existing file in the internal and external storage of a device. All files should be categorized for easy and efficient access.

• Image Viewer
  Image viewer gives easy and quick view of existing images /pictures in a device, it important to have it in this app to view images user wants to share without making mistake of different pictures.

• Video Player
  I shot some videos with my device which were saved automatically with a general name and I wasn't able to identify them on this app, video player will make it easy to differentiate between those videos when they are played on the app.

• Music player
  Music should also be added to this app for listening to existing music files for different reasons before sharing them. Sometimes a tract might be mistakenly saved with another name, add this will make if easy to fix that issue.

Benefits

• File Category
  This makes it easy fir users to identify or differentiate between file in the both storage of the device. All files will be grouped according to their categories either in a list or grid view.
• Image Viewer
  Users will be able to slide between images on their devices for easy identification, the app doesn't have and its difficult to identify images before sharing.
• Video Player
  It allows user to view or play various video file before being shared, so private videos won't be shared mistakenly be shared by the sender, which also allows received to confirm the videi received.
• Music player
  It allows track to be played for easy and quick accessiblility between tracks.
