Exploring A New Neighborhood

I have been in a little posting drought lately so I got my lazy butt up and out for a walk in a new neighborhood. Follow along as I share some of the images from my walk. 😀

We have been seeing this field of purple for a few days now and I wanted to start my walk here so I could get a few pictures.

As I snapped this last picture before starting the walk, I noticed a commotion in the air of to my left.

Aerial Combat

I quickly switched lenses and was able to catch this sequence of images of a hawk being pursued by some smaller birds. The hawk didn't seem to pay them much mind as they would swoop in on him and then veer off.

Walking The Path

This neighborhood has several man made streams crisscrossing its acreage. It also has several paths that allow you to leave the streets and sidewalks behind for a change of pace.
