My Market Friday by @dswigle - The Butcher's House
It's my #marketfriday time for @dswigle and it was really a Friday market happened yesterday.
I need to cook more meat for lunch yesterday. The group of beauticians came for the girls to make up in preparation for the wedding party last night. So, I bought meat for the nearest butcher's house.
They are selling lamb and goat meat. One kilo is worth 20 USD. The distance is so near to our employer's house so I came on walking early morning.
What I appreciated so much to this place is the cleanliness compared to the wet market in the other place. I had bought here since it opened three years ago. All the establishment in this place is new. We are already staying in this house of my boss for 10 years and the street and neighboring place were still empty. But today, it is already well developed and we are so near to everything we need unlike before.
I bought two kilos then, they removed all the existing fats of the meat.
They also used the old big trunk of a tree as the chopping board.
This is the color outside of the butcher's house. Our house is on the backside 15 minutes away from this place.
I cooked it all with vegetables like tomato, potato, carrots, bell pepper, hot pepper, and okra.
The meat with a vegetable like this is one of those favorites of my boss. The recipe is called Edham Laham.in Arabic.

As you may or may not know, I have been in Columbia, South America and Panama and even a but of Miami. So I have missed the luxury od having a great connection whenever I want. They are now on their honeymoon in Malaysia tonight and when they came home I'm sure there will be a party again. That is how the way it used to be here.
This coming 2021 the first day of January will be the wedding of the eldest son. Do you know, just this moment, I'm making coffee and there is a visitor coming again. None stop..

Aren't they getting tired of one celebration after the other? Is there still room for joy and happiness? Everyone must be exhausted. Perhaps the parents are happy if they are all married? Can they take care of themselves if the parents die?
