INTERNET MEDIA FOR SOCIAL REVOLUTION

Both internet and media have become inseparable because of the seamless integration that has happened between the two over time. In truth, Internet itself is a form of media as it involves connecting people together without regards to Demography, Psychography and Technography. Internet has shattered boundaries and barriers that were once obstacles for media. Now, information garnering and dissemination almost have no restrictions.

Internet also has now become a tool for conventional media and many disruptors are now operating seamlessly online to bypass unnecessary restrictions and regulations that hinder freedom of information and its accessibility. To combine two tools responsible for information sharing and equity is the height of revolution that could be applied in any sphere of life especially ones that involves social change in areas of Education, Business and Politics.

This is why it is necessary for young innovators to look into what I referred to the business of Internet Media which is a start-up for providing youths, young entrepreneurs and aspiring young professionals and statesmen across the globe a platform to express their opinions at they apply both locally and internationally, promote their needed ideas and open doors of opportunities to be of value and service to the local and global community.

The major areas as mentioned earlier are Education, Business and Politics because all facets of life and engagements need these three areas to survive and thrive in the society and these areas should be focused on.

The Internet Media start-up would be operating on these categories:

• Radio
• TV Shows
• Graphics/Animation
• Books
• Collaborative Publishing

The major mode of operation would be through Internet of Media (IoM), Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Block Chain Technology. The means would be through the development of an app and a well developed website for engagement. The platform would be as open as possible for engagement but would be focused on the three areas mentioned earlier to streamline what is been done and naturally avoid content violations.

The hallmark of this project would be to:

• Reporting the truth as it is without affecting the potency of national and international security
• Disseminate helpful information for youth’s productivity and empowerment across the globe
• Celebrate young individuals who are doing things the right way
• To pass across messages that would enlighten people about their role in the local and global society
• To increase people’s awareness as regards the available opportunities

Any youth that has the ability to properly blend the knowledge of Education, Business and Politics together is already a global force to reckon with and that is the vision of starting an Internet-Media for Social Change or Revolution. This revolution is not a bloody revolution but that of Ideas and Ideals that would change the course of history for the best and lay a foundation of goodness for the next generation.

This is what such powerful tools like Internet and Media should do in a world we are in presently. Global Equity is the way to go and Internet Media is the perfect tool for deployment.
