Nobody owes you

The very mistake I ensured I am not guilty of, is totally laying my trust on people. I've lived my life appreciating every single favour I get from people, rewarding those I can and always talking about those I can't repay. This I do because I know and belief nobody owes me a dime in life, not even my parents.

In Africa, mostly Nigeria where I come from, there is no law biding your parents to feeding or training you.

They could decide to train you or not, no part of the constitution to my best of knowledge binds them to it.

Thus favour is an act of love, a product of choice. I have learnt not to expect it but to appreciate it when it comes.

I see alot of steemians steeming politically in search of favour and hoping to get upvotes from whales. I don't wanna say it's evil, because steemit is a game. Anyway up is a way as Nigerians will say.

But I'm only concerned about the future of Steemit. Politics will kill Steem as not everyone will have the time and energy to practically worship WHALES.

I see alot of people feeling devastated all because they don't earn much again. Others who lost out of a whales scholarship feel like giving up. But am not, cos I never Steem depending wholely on their upvotes and favour.

Be a warrior, device means to earn LEGITIMATE Steem on your own.
