Alot of newbies join the steemit community on a daily basis. I've seen a need to make out time to always educate them on the possible ways to succeed on steemit.

Today, I'll be trashing some do's and don'ts for a successful steemit experience.

DON'Ts

Don't ask for help
Don't ask for favour
Don't be in a haste to receive
Don't be in need always
Don't beg for upvotes
Don't be after YOUR gain
Don't make it your thing always
Don't be self-centered

DO's

Be selfless
Be out to help
Offer favour and free service
Upvote quite often while minding your voting power
Be in a haste to give
Resteem great posts when needful
Comment often
Organize reach outs, meet ups and donations

The universe naturally rewards you when you think others. This is same on steemit. Don't be in a haste to ask me what you'll gain from me, rather ask me what I'll love to get from you.

Don't be in a haste to beg for up votes. Offer upvotes and don't do it expecting a payback from me. Do it because the write up deserved an appreciation.

Don't make it your thing. Let helping others be the goal. The developers of steemit could as well kept it to themselves but they allowed you to benefit from this platform. Why not share?

Most people seek upvotes rather than relationships

Don't make steemit all about what you'll gain or your earnings rather worry about what the community will gain from you.
