Top 5 Anime Series from the 90's
Hi Steemers!
Now I'm going to finally post on what I really love: Anime :)
This is not going to be my only post on this topic, anyway.
Let's start!
The 90's as well as the 80's were the decades in which, for me and for many anime fans were aired the best anime series, or at least the most classic ones.
This is a top 5 list of what I consider the most classic anime series from the 90's
#5. Sailor Moon
I start this list, ironically, with an anime I didn't watch regularly and almost don't remember. Sailor Moon is undeniably the biggest "shoujo" (anime for girls) in history because of its huge popularity and influence in girls and also many many boys (what other shoujos didn't achieve.)
#4. Slam Dunk
Sport anime series were more popular back in the 90's that they are now, that's why I didn't leave Slam Dunk behind. This anime was very popular and it was extremely funny. For those who think Captain Tsubasa deserved to be on the list instead of SD, it is because CT began to be aired in the 80's; besides, SD is way funnier XD
#3 Evangelion
Evangelion! This is an anime which popularity is too big, maybe bigger than what it should be if we consider how complex it is. Don't misunderstand me, I am a fan of Evangelion myself. I just wonder why it can be so populat being that complex (I think it is a matter of the level of maturity in our generation, but that's my opinion)
Evangelion is maybe the most studied anime in history :)
#2. Dragon Ball Z
Dragon Ball Z!!! The biggest shonen (anime for boys) of them all in popularity (well, at least in latinamerica)
The reason it is on the list, despite being from the 80's is because DBZ, apart fron the original series, DID begin in the 90's becoming even more popular than it was in the 80's.
Why it was soooo popular?
Perhaps it is because of all the action it offered, and because every child dreamed to be like Goku (LOL)
#1 Rurouni Kenshin
All hail Kenshin!
Why is RK on the top of the list?
Well, you maybe guessed it... It is my favorite anime :)
What does this anime have?
-Cool sword action.
Action is not only punching each other, you know. This is great action! ;)
-Japan's history (Tokugawa and Meiji era.)
The story is based upon the end of the feudal era in Japan.
-Humor
Besides being a "historical" anime, it has many funny moment, and HOW funny!
-The best soundtrack
There are just a few anime series in which Openings and Endings are all good. In those few series, I think this has the most freaking good ones, I swear!
-Originality
Well, you gotta watch it to understand why it is original. I can tell you it is different from other shonen animes and every existing anime, but it's not enough.
-Romance, but not cheesy romance
Yes, it has a little romance, but it is not the center of this anime, in fact, it is even humorous he way it's shown.
-Kenshin
What? it's Kenshin! The coolest anime guy ever! He could be serious and cool at the same time, for God's sake!
Ok, ok, I finished.
Greetings!

Ninja Senshi Tobikage ( English name:- Ninja robot )
I didn't know this one :O
There were many "classic" animes in the 90s which are sadly no longer remembered by most. Maid-chan really has to do a series one them one day or another.
Maid-chan wasn't popular when I was a child :(
Not that I just followed the popular ones, but in my childhood I didn't have internet XD
