I finally made it to 1000 followers on steemit, 1002 to be exact at the time of writing this. A sincere thank you to everyone who has followed me, and made it possible for me to achieve this goal.
I'm having a little tea party to celebrate, well any excuse for cake! I baked the cup cakes myself, and went crazy with those chocolate sprinkles.
The Steemit community is amazing, I've had so much support since I joined last July and it's what drives me to keep creating and keep posting!
Look who's in the popular group. Everyone wants to hang out @opheliafu on steemit. It's probably because you're an awesome artist and veey creative person. Congratulations and Steem On!
It's all that free cake I give away, lol! I know not all of them are still active but during the slow times I've still gained quite a few followers. It was a real goal for me, as I want my posts to be of interest.

Thank you! The community is great. I got a lot of support and good vibes on my posts. I like the interactions as it helps everyone growing and I made also some new friends. Tomorrow, it will be one month since I joined Steemit and I'm really glad I did it :)

Indeed. I wanted to write even more, but I have a pretty busy period at the office this time of the year, hence trying to keep writing when I get some free time. I like to share nice experiences and beautiful things that surround me.
Steemit can take over a bit-it's addictive. So much good contents out there and such a great community to be involved with.
It starts to become an addiction :D a good one :)

I feel like the last couple of weeks things have started to move up a gear- what about you?
It's been a blast. Earnings have been up and we finally have an influx of new users today after the issues in the last week. Looks like some cool people, so this could drive more growth. We need a bigger community to make this really work. The next few months will be interesting, especially if they actually release Steemit communities.
I'm very excited about the possibility of Steemit communities- I can't wait to find out more of the details and how it will work. I'm really committed to the idea of an Art community- I hope it happens.
