Paper City
'Paper City' is a mixed media collage made from newspaper, book text, cut-up paintings and water-based paint on paper. I started the process of making the piece by cutting out shapes from different papers and arranging them onto a board to represent a cityscape.
I then created a background to stick the cityscape to using water-based paint on paper. In the final piece the bright colours of the sky are reflected in the dark waters.
