Drawing Challenge #3 【Sweet Dragon Fruit】

¡Hola! Estoy participando en el tercer concurso por @helene y decidí probar pintar con pasteles esta Pitahaya.

I used cardboard, pastels, black marker, a pencil and eraser to create this piece.

Usé cartulina, pasteles, marcador negro, un lapiz y borrador para crear esta pieza.

First I drawed the Dragon Fruit sketch.

Primero dibujé el boceto de la Pitahaya.

Then I painted the black seeds using a black marker.

Luego pinté las semillas usando un marcador negro.

Then I started painting the fuchsia parts and added some light pink where I wanted to get more light.

Entonces comencé a pintar las partes fuchsias y agregué un rosa claro donde quería más luminosidad.

And blended them.

Y lo difuminé.

I painted the green parts and added some light green to get some light.

Pinté las partes verdes y agregué un verde claro para darle más luz.

I blended them.

Lo difuminé también.

Since the green was so light I added another green layer.

Dado que el verde resultó en un tono muy claro le agregué otra capa de verde oscuro.

And blended again.

Y de nuevo, difuminé el color.

Next I painted the white center of the fruit.

Luego pinté el centro blanco de la gruta.

And blended.

Y difuminé la zona.

To finish this artwork I added defined pastel lines on some borders and added my signature.

Para terminar esta pintura, agregué líneas definidas con los pasteles en algunos bordes y puse mi firma.
