Do What Pleases The Lord

Ephesians 5:10-11 (NIV)

"And find out what pleases the Lord. Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them."

Brothers and Sisters, there is nothing that can be subsituted with our lives in the course of pleasing God. If we can worship God in truth then we ought to give our whole lives to God, that really shows that we have devoted our everything to God.

In pleasing God, our hearts should yearn for God and his words. The Bible says that if you love me obey my commandments. For those who love God obey his commmandments that says that: "do not kill, do not commit adultery, do not steal, do not worship any thing with the excption of your Lord God." We can't disobey all these laws and say that we are doing what pleases God.

The Lord God has admonished us to hate what the world's love. Because, what the World's love are the things that God hates. And these are things that push us to lose the Salvation that God has prepare for us. The things found in the World are the fruit of the flesh that always fight against the spirit of God, and the two do not meet. All those who are in the fruit of the flesh find it difficult to do the will of God.

Just think of some of these fruit of the flesh; fornication, robbery, corruption, bribery, gossiping, abortion, alcoholism and many of such things the our flesh loves to do but would send us to lose the Kingdom of God. This what the Bible says that, "we should expose them." Meaning that, we should get rid of them from our lives. God rewards all those who obey him by making what pleases him. Are you do what pleases God? Remember that the Son of God is coming in his glory coming to take away all those who did what pleases God.
