The Diary Game: 03/09/2021 - Attending Integrated Science Workshop. 10% beneficiary for Steem-ghana

Greetings Dear friends. It has been raining since yesterday. Yesterday, the rainfall interrupted our instructional hours. I got to school when it was around 10:30 am. Most of the teachers were also affected in similar way. This led others missed coming to school. Due to this, only one paper was able to cover, we wrote only integrated science and closed. Today too, we experienced rainfall from 4 am till 8 am. When I was leaving for school, it was exactly 8 am due to the rainfall.

I could not waste more time in school since all teachers handling core subjects were having workshop towards the BECE, more on chief examiner's report on how students should answer questions. It has been almost 2 years now since the Education officers here organise such a workshop for us. We could say that, the failure of most students in an examination is based on their failure to provide the required answers and simple instructions. The meeting began at 9 am, so by then I had reached there.

The lecturer began the workshop with us by taking us through a lot of mistakes candidates sometimes commit in the course of answering their questions. The lecturer is one of the marker's of the BECE Exams so he was able to address so many things that the students should require of answering questions by taking us through sample questions. In the nutshell, students should be vigilant on setting things like spellings, brevity, go straight to the point or write the salient points rather than beating about the bush.

We went in and continued the lesson. We closed when it was 2:pm. I escorted a friend to purchase some sun flower oil at a shop. This is the same shop I also buy my items. The oil is very expensive as one(1) cost Ghc 100.00. so the two(2) gallons he bought cost Ghc 200.00

On my way home, I bought some doughnuts and sweet bar for my family. I safely reached home to meet my family. Oh, I am so tired.
