THE DIARY GAME: 13/10/2020 - Our Lessons Delivery
Hello friends!,
The morning is cool, full of academia. Yesterday was great workshop we enjoyed meeting our Circuit Supervisor in our school - Anansu Presby JHS. Today is proof of lesson delivery of what we acquired. We were told to prepare fully like a being armed at the warfare, wearing his armoured and other weapon to defend. In this case our defense of the lessons are the teaching resource materials and the methodology to make effective lesson delivery. The Circuit Supervisor would be in our midst today to observe our teachings using *"prompts, pacing and engagement. Each of us were given cardboard and marker to prepare some material of what we are going to be talk.
I was very tired the whole of yesterday. I became very lazy to start up something on the cardboard. So, early in the morning, I began to draw some images of what I was going to teach. It's under "A Force on an object." Since I had been handling the science subject for almost ten years, I had fore knowledge and concept about each of topics I pick, especially demonstrating it practically. What did I do differently on the cardboard? I had #3 activities in mind. By this time, I decided not to draw a real human being but to draw cartoons involving in some activities. That would even attract the students attention. " On the cardboard I drew cartoons pushing a heavy rock, pulling a rope and playing a ball."

Because of the preparation of this teaching learning material I was late to school. I reached there 5mins passed 9 am. We were still waiting for the Circuit Supervisor to assess our lesson delivery. Luckily I would be the first teacher to delivery checking on our time table for lessons.

As we were waiting for the arrival of the SC, I observed other teachers preparations. In fact most teachers did very well in drawing esp the ICT teacher and Social Studies teacher. They did very nice drawing on their area of teaching. I had one shot for their input here.

The Circuit Supervisor finally came and observed our lesson delivery one after the order. We were six teachers on the roll to teach so we spent 35mins for each lesson. As I said, I was the first teacher to deliver my lesson, follow by other teachers. When we all finished, the CS met us in our staff common room for a brief discussions about our strength and weaknesses. This wasn't actually to find fault on any teacher but to motivate us to keep the good work done if we have relaxed or not doing what is expected from us. We the teachers also shared our ideas and things that we expect the office GES to provide the school.

It was almost time for closing, after the meeting we ranged the bell for closing. We departed to our various homes to continue our better life and daily activities. When I reached to the house the painters were also doing very well, probably they may finish tomorrow. The building and the walls looked very nice.
I finally arrived home, checking on my painters
I was very tired so I slept for a while and woke up late. Supper was ready, so I enjoyed and continued the next activity for the day. Thanks to all Steem funs and better life players.
