Well, I think it sounds good at this point. Of course I just believe Mr. Sun with what he said in the video call so I guess that makes me terribly naive. lol.
But we'll have to see. Of course, he can always change his mind too from the views he had on the call. But with his resources and backing I think it assures Steemit some lasting power if he leaves it as it's own community.
I mean, from what I understand Steemit was losing money every month and that wasn't going to go on forever so this may have saved her.

I didn't see the call. I've been reading as many posts on the issue as I have time to read though. It seems about 50/50. Half think it's going to kill Steem, half think it's going to be great.
I'm coming from a place of ignorance because I haven't been on Steem much at all the past year or so. I also don't know a lot about Tron. But what I have heard so far concerns me. I don't trust Justin Sun one bit. There's a YouTuber I trust called "Chico Crypto." He doesn't think highly of Sun or Tron at all. I think this will certainly boost Steem in the short term, but I think it will long term kill it.
I sure hope I'm wrong! I've been really getting into Steem again the past few weeks and I like it a lot!
That may very well be the case sir optout, I've been planning to spend less time on steemit anyway and this makes me lean even more that way unless Sun turns out to be an upstanding guy but I don't know him either so I guess we have to be extra skeptical since these other analysts say he can't be trusted.
My wife would love to see my ditch Steemit! It IS a great platform and very fun but it's not very practical unless you don't need an income! lol. So Chico Crypto thinks this is the beginning of the end for steemit?
Oh I see. Well then maybe Steemit got sold to the wrong guy! But then with a 70 million steem stake you'd think he would want it to increase in value and an exploding growth in Steemit would sure be helpful.
I was pretty bullish on Steem before the big ruckus on a Tron merger. I really think we've got another big crypto bull market starting right now, with the parabolic run in 2021 sometime. I think Steemians could see $100-$1,000 post rewards again soon. Hopefully I'm wrong and this Tron / Steemit collaboration bears good fruit!
