THE FAVOURED MAN
Good day beautiful people. Hope you all are doing awesome today. I greet you all in the name of the Lord. So yesterday, we talked about how man grieved God and how God shortened their lives span and how God was even disappointed and regretted why He made man. Now lets continue and see what else happened.

6:8-9 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD. These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.
After Enoch, Noah was the second man that had the account of walking with God and finding favour and grace in God's sight. It was recorded that he was just and perfect amongst all in his generation. How many people can God boast of in this generation of ours that he or she is perfect and just? Thats a question we all should answer in our hearts.
6:10-12 And Noah begat three sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth. The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence. And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.
See what I want to point out here, Noah had three sons and was still perfect in God's sight. So many people nowadays only have one child and they no longer have the time for God. Many of them complain and give a lot of excuses why they do not have time for fellowship, worship and service to God all because they are busy taking care of children especially women. But here, Noah had three and they were all man and still, he walked uprightly with God. Now we can see in verse twelve that the earth was very corrupt and so many atrocities were going on at that time. So what happened?
6:13 And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.
Wow... God had decided hereto destrop the earth but Noah was so favoured here that God had to discuss it with him. How amazing that can be when you have the Almighty God as your closest pal who you can discuss anything with and at anytime. We should strive to please God the more so that God too can come closer to us and make us true friends.
