Trusting in God's will more than our own

Commit your works to the Lord,
And your thoughts will be affirmed. Proverbs 16: 3

I always insisted on doing things my way and I became a very rebellious person. Things had to be done in my own way according to my own knowledge, which filled me with many frustrations and I had to see my goals shattered and with a lot of hopelessness.

I have been very dominant in my affairs and very controlling, which has made my personality very arrogant.

Trying to put my will above God's was a challenge that cost me the realization of my dreams. You have to be humble and lead your life with simplicity and recognize that things must be done according to God's will, which his word says, is good, pleasant and perfect.

Aligning my thoughts with those of God was not easy due to my rebellious character. I think the same thing happened to me that happened to the prophet Jonah. I had to be inside the mouth of a great fish to be able to understand that God rules the heavens and the earth.
Certainly, God is a supreme being who makes us go through fire to make us understand that his will is more pleasant than ours.

I went through fire and learned that God wants the best for me. I gave up all those things that in my opinion I thought were the best, which turned out the opposite.
I submitted to God's will and things began to change in a positive way in my life. My goal of being a professional modeling girl was achieved when I entrusted my goals into the hands of God and He began blazing a path through the storms to help me achieve my goal.

God affirmed my steps as I put my trust in Him and I began to carry out things according to His will.

God is a loving being willing to help when we put his will above our own.
