Brighter Days
Brighter days are coming,
I can taste them in my thoughts.
Though my chest is tight with loneliness,
I know you're turning in your mind.
Eventually you will turn to me,
A spin upon your heels,
Running from your fears,
And forgiving me for real.
And moving on we'll joyously hold
Our bodies close and our hearts closer,
Happy to be free again
Happy to express our love.
We'll be wiser,
older,
fairer still,
Moving on in love and peace,
Don't let this ugly world kill your part,,
But open your trust to me,
And with it your heart.
I can taste brighter, more abundant days too. Thank you for taking the time to share and thank you for ulogging.
