LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT: LOVE DEY SHAK AND SHAG THE MIND

LOVE DEY SHAK

It is very difficult for most persons to accept that there is anything like loving a opposite sex just on the first sight or contact with them. I'm going to capture this by telling a story. This story is about Kingston and Adanne who were mesmerized and electrified by the each others presence.

Kingston met Adanne and her friend when he went out on a early morning jog with a friend of his who was known as Bacon. This happened when they were coming back from the jogging tired, sweaty and sticky. Adanne's friend Patricia happened to be Kingston's classmate way back in elementary or what is know as basic school for kids. Kingston and Patricia actually go way back in family history and relations too. Their fathers were business patners from the same Johnenian State and they jointly owned Machiavelli group, the biggest Electronics Manufacturing Company in Chicken Cepublic. Kingston thought to himself how time flies since basic elementary as toddlers who just stopped sucking their mothers breasts. That was a very long time he thought.

Kingston's thoughts drifted away from he and Patricia's relationship to the present. Adanne and Patricia were about to start jogging when they met Kingston and Bacon. Kingston drank in the sight of Adanne as a woman who held quite an appeal to men. Embers of fire were stoked within him on seeing this Godbless, gorgeous and beautiful damsel. It was as he was drinking in the sight of her that Adanne met his gaze with a knowing look and smile on her face. He is not bad looking, in fact he is as handsome as sin from hell, she said to herself. After exchanging pleasantries and getting introduced with the guys, Adanne and Patricia moved away from the guys to start their own jogging with Adanne a little reluctant to leave. Kingston told himself after Adanne and Patricia moved away that he had to follow his instinctual desires which were genuine. He had to get to know who this beauty is with the quick effect of somewhat of the big bang

Kingston and his friend followed the girls on their jog and it made it their second time out. Adanne and Patricia split between Kingston and Bacon respectively. Kingston got talking with Adanne, getting to know her better and she also did the same. She asked Kingston several questions ranging from who he was to his exercise routine. Kingston told Adanne that he loved exercising a lot even to the extent that he usually jog twice in the morning nonstop. Kingston got her number and called her a few times to get to know her much better. It was not until much later before Kingston lost interest so quickly and he stopped all communications that could send signals to of his intent to ask her out.

Through his discussions with Adanne, Kingston could see how desirous she was of him to ask her out. His only excuse for not asking her out was telling himself that he did not like her and that he was not ready for a relationship with her or any other girl. He told himself that he could stop thinking about her and banish thoughts about her from his mind and consciousness This was actually contrary to the reality of the situation before him.

It later dawned on him that I was carry out a project of deceiving himself by not entering into a relationship with her. He could not stop thinking about her, he was head over heels in love with her. Realizing this he tried to make a move to claim the number one spot in her life. He thought he was going to meet an undefended fort like he left it. Adanne told him point blank that she had a boyfriend already. She said he had already blown away any opportunity he once had, when her heart and love was still his. Kingston became so restless and disturbed to the extent that he could not eat or do anything for three days. He was occupied with thoughts of his monumental loss. As we speak Kingston is yet to recover from his "lifetime loss".

Most persons might be hoping that this would have an happy end, but this is not to be the case. Life is not all about having happy and good endings, the bad and ugly always have a role to play in events that happen. That is what life really is, the bad and the good necessarily do not happen simultaneously. The bad is a privation of the good.
