BEING PATIENT AND YET PERSISTENT

in #life7 years ago (edited)

Nature is patient, it flows at it's own pace and dances to its own rhythm. You can not rush sunrise or hasten sunset. The rains will come when it will and the snow, at it's own time. It's therefore natural to wait, to hold on and to let things run their course. It is not the waiting that is the problem but what we do while we wait or what we do when the wait is over. There are those who wait for so long that it eventually becomes a part of them. The secret to waiting is in your ability to recognize when it's time for action, When it's time to wake up from your slumber and return to work.

William Franklin Graham Jr. was an American evangelist, a prominent evangelical Christian figure, and an ordained Southern Baptist minister who became well known internationally in the late 1940s. It was he who once said:

Each life is made up of mistakes and learning, waiting and growing, practicing patience and being persistent.

Patience, therefore must be accompanied by persistence if any success is to be attained. A man must not wait too long that he tends to find comfort in waiting. Because sometimes it's easier to just keep waiting and telling ourselves that the time is not right, that there is more time or that we are just not ready. Everything runs in accordance with it's natural course. So, yes, there are times when we have to wait, but while we wait, lets not fold our arms or sit aloof. Let's make plans for when the wait is over, and when it finally is, let's recognize this moment and implement our plans.

Successful is the man who understands the necessity of waiting and yet keeps himself from the temptation of getting addicted to it.

You have a minor grammatical mistake in the following sentence:

Nature is patient, it flows at it's own pace and dances to it's own rhythm.
It should be its own instead of it's own.
