I hope you all doing great in your life and that you are all blessed. I have completed my first achievement and now I am doing task 2. The soul purpose of this task is to learn about how security works on steemit and how to keep your steemit account secure

How to keep an account secure and sound
There is a complete process of doing it so let's break it down into little steps

1. First thing first when you just made your account on steemit you receive some keys in your email in form of a pdf file. Save those keys at multiple places also print them out and lock them or keep them under your pillow whatever suits you. That's the crucial one.
2. Make sure no one has access to your keys, especially the master key
3. Use keys according to the action you are performing
   
   Purpose of each key
   Each key is used for a particular task
   Posting Key
   As per its name, it is used to post, comment, resteem, vote and follow or mute other accounts on steemit. steemians should log in by using the posting key.
   Active key
   Active key is used for more delicate tasks like transferring funds, converting dollars, placing market orders, etc.
   Owner key
   One should only use this key when necessary otherwise avoid using it because it has its power. Issa powerful key and by using it one can change all the other keys. One should save it offline and only use it when recovering a compromised account
   Memo key
   A memo key is used to send an encrypted message or to see an encrypted message
   How to recover an account if you lose keys
   there's no way you can recover your account if you lose keys because it has real value and when it comes to real stuff mistakes like these can't be reversed so better not lose it under any circumstances.
