Redeeming the Land
I was at a prayer school and the anchor talked on the subject redeeming the Land. I want to search with you on How to Redeem the Land.
- We need to marry the land Isaiah 62:4-5. Pay a price for the redemption of the land. Price of praying, fasting and speaking good for the land
- Seek for the peace of the land Jer, 29:7; 30:17. People will seek after Ora. Bring Prophesy to the land. Lord make me an evidence and show case of your glory.
- Pray for the land and pray to the Lord for it Jer 29:7. Prayer is hardwork.it is a serious venture. It is not a profit making venture but a profitable venture. Any act that gives joy to God is a profitable venture. (Don't compare you land with another land. Only make sure that your land is in line with the will of God. Any time your prayer goes into comparison you are on your own)
- Restore the land Isaiah42:22; 58:12. Nehemiah 5:11-12. If you don't say 'God do it' you are on your own because He will not gatecrash into your life (it is words you use in making war. Our warfare is of word) whatever you are not resisting, you are assisting. Until you confront the kingdom of darkness you cannot comfort your land. Confrontation brings comfort to the land
- Visit the land Ruth 1:6; Gen 50:24-25. You can do prophetic visits to the land. As you set your heart to do something for the land then God will visit you.
- Speak Good to the land Number 10:29. Stop causing the land. Do not use a negative comment or negative acronym for the land or yourself or people. Even in the midst of your anger do not ulter evil words. Joshua 21:45. Amos 5:14Even God speaks well of the Church and the land why can't you? We must win the battle of consistency. The enemy fights you more when you obey God. Don't let your problem come in front. Learn to speak Good even in a bad situation
- Release the hand of the Lord upon the land Psalms 118:15-16; Isaiah 41:20
A blessed land is possible. A New Nigeria is possible.
It is with Love!

Yes
The only biblical application for redeeming the land comes from the practice of the Israelites selling their land until the year of Jubilee when they got it back. They could redeem the land if they bought it back early.
There's a lot of error in applying Jeremiah 29:7. Let's look at the passage:
(Jeremiah 29:4-14 NIV) This is what the LORD Almighty, the God of Israel, says to all those I carried into exile from Jerusalem to Babylon: {5} "Build houses and settle down; plant gardens and eat what they produce. {6} Marry and have sons and daughters; find wives for your sons and give your daughters in marriage, so that they too may have sons and daughters. Increase in number there; do not decrease. {7} Also, seek the peace and prosperity of the city to which I have carried you into exile. Pray to the LORD for it, because if it prospers, you too will prosper." {8} Yes, this is what the LORD Almighty, the God of Israel, says: "Do not let the prophets and diviners among you deceive you. Do not listen to the dreams you encourage them to have. {9} They are prophesying lies to you in my name. I have not sent them," declares the LORD. {10} This is what the LORD says: "When seventy years are completed for Babylon, I will come to you and fulfill my gracious promise to bring you back to this place. {11} For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. {12} Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. {13} You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. {14} I will be found by you," declares the LORD, "and will bring you back from captivity. I will gather you from all the nations and places where I have banished you," declares the LORD, "and will bring you back to the place from which I carried you into exile."
You can't just take a verse out of context and apply it in a different way. It should be clear that your applications of that verse is wrong.
Your whole concept of redeeming the land is completely unbiblical.
