I have heard of Hive. I do not know if I am on this. I tried to sign up but may still be on Steemit. Can a person be on both? At the same time? Steem now appears to have me on both.
I am not computer savvy and do not understand all of this. I wish someone could help me, but have not found that help, though I have read posts. This reminds me of a divorce where you decide if you want to be with mom or dad. Sad we had the break up. Thanks @overkillcoin.
Yes, when the original devs and witnesses had enough of the commie censorship and hostile take over around here, they made a fork of Steem called Hive that's resistant to the abuses of the Tron Foundation. You can sign in with the same password you use with Steem. It's recommended that you use Hive Keychain (free) found on the app store for your browser. This stores your posting key (for commenting and posting) and your active key (for transactions) safely so you don't have to keep entering it again and again.
As long as you didn't vote for commie Sun's sock puppets during her attack on Steem governance, you received an equal amount of Hive tokens over there. So you won't be starting over from square one.
I'm busy and can't always help, but I'm sure many people there can help get you started, it's quite simple really.
