How to Match Vegetables and Herbs on The Home Page With Pot Media
The existence of green land in the house certainly makes the house cooler and more peaceful. Residents will feel more comfortable when at home. Making a house more beautiful and green can be done with farming activities or gardening at home. That way, many of the benefits obtained by residents of the house. In addition to coolness, also daily needs can be fulfilled from the results of the plants planted. Healthy vegetables and fruits can be harvested directly from the yard. Even farming activities can help residents to relieve fatigue and stress. But sometimes, limited space and land are often a barrier for urban residents to grow crops. No need to worry because now there are many methods of farming in which the planting media does not need to take up vast areas of land. For tools and materials, you can use used goods.
The Tabulampot method is often used in home gardening activities. Tabulampot planting media must be able to store water and supply the needed nutrients. The most suitable planting media for this tabulampot method is a mixture of soil, compost, and husk with a composition of 1: 1: 1. For containers used include clay, drums, plastic, cement, or wood. However, the best container for tabulampot is made from clay and wood because it has pores, so the humidity and temperature of the planting media are stable. In order for water and air circulation to run smoothly, the planting container must have a foot or base that separates the pot from the ground. Plants that are cultivated using the tabulampot technique should be placed in an open place and exposed to sunlight. In the dry season, plants must be watered every day, in the morning or evening. While during the rainy season, plants are watered if they look dry.
The following are some of the plants that I planted on the home page using pot media, and some including vegetables such as leaf sop, here are some pictures and explanations of the plants:
