MIME LIVES MATTER - A CALL TO ACTION!!!

Did you know that due to recent changes in legislation, computer retailers around the globe are now mandated to sell PC’s that are custom built only for mimes? That’s right...the entire industry has a discriminatory agenda built into it, to silence these poor souls from cradle to the grave. By law, they are now required to sell PC’s to this community, without a keyboard or a microphone, based on the perception that it would be cruel to do so. Well, I would argue the complete opposite, and it makes me so damn mad!.

I am also amazed that blockchain social media, has a built in discriminatory and offensive feature called the ‘mute’ button. Is this shit for real? Are we as a community trying to say that these people don’t deserve an equal voice or opinion on this platform? I am absolutely disgusted, and you should be too! Stand up against this discrimination and demand a change in policy - or at least change the name of this button to ‘STFU’. Maybe even, ‘fuck off and die’ is more appropriate.

After having an online picture conversation with Andrew Hand-Signal from the International Mimes and Pantomimists Facebook Community, I finally understood the personal anguish and trauma that these delicate human souls have to deal with on a daily basis.

For this reason, a protest march is being scheduled to take place at the steps of the International human rights council HQ in London, at a time to be announced in the near future.

As a mark of respect and human dignity, there will be a ban on microphones and megaphones at the march, and organisers will have their faces painted and lips taped together, whilst making dumb ass clown faces and standing in ridiculously weird positions. There will also be no talking allowed during the protest, to simulate the real world reality and effects of this hideous affliction.

This is only the first phase of the campaign, and it will later move towards the online space where websites with forums will be targeted with a campaign, to provide an area for picture and gif only conversations.

This will obviously create more inclusiveness and understanding for the plight of the mime community. It’s only fair that they get to have a say, without having to say it with words!
