Nobody is free But we have a choice, of who should master us. Romans 6: 16-18

Hello friends,

In life the one of the precious gift we are all divinely endowed is a free will to choose between the available options. This is important because of our inability to be more than one thing, but it is also due to the impossibility of serving to masters. So we have to choose one between the two or between many options that life has.

When you choose one thing of over the other, you have chosen your destiny, you have chosen your master. Nobody lives free from all; just because you chose to move away or get out of something it does not mean you are a free agent now, you just moved from something into something. A freedom from one way of life is enslaving yourself to another way of life. But what you choose or don't choose determine your destiny.

Joshua told the children of Israel, choose today whom will you serve (give your life services). Who will be your master. There was a choice between God the creator and Idols. They could not walk away free from everything nope, they could only walk from something to something. From God to idols or from idols to God. It either the gods their fathers served beyond the river
And in Egypt or the gods of the land they dwell.

Is it the gods of your grandfathers or the gods of this generation or the God of heaven and the earth. This choice must be made and must be personal forget the influence of the crowd, choose your own master. Joshua made his personal decision, but me and my family we will serve the Lord. Joshua 24:14-15

The bible in Mathew also talks about no one can serve to masters, money and God. Nobody lives in the in between land, never. Money is a none living thing, but it has power to master when it is given a chance. When you choose God, money becomes your servant but when you choose money God become distant from you. Because the creator can never serve anybody. So nobody is free, you are a slave to one of the two. Mathew 6:24

There two ways narrow and wide, one leads to eternal life one leads to eternal hell, there is no medium, your freedom is in choosing to be a slave to which way between the two. Whatsoever way of life you choose it has a destiny, the question is what destiny are you serving? Each way has its own gains and losses. You are not completely free from losses neither without gains. The issue is what do you loose and what do you gain?

Conclusion
Friends, apostle Paul said for him to have Christ, he had to loose all that was important to him. The pain of the loss was bearable because of the beauty of Christ's glory. We cannot have Christ and the world, we cannot be saints and sinners at the same time, we cannot serve God and devil at the same time, we cannot be friends of God and of the world at the same time. We have and we must choose.

Lets trade the temporal for the eternal, sin for righteousness, worldly beauty that fades away for God's eternal glory. Let be slaves to righteousness because it leads us to eternal life. Choose to be a slave of righteousness, do not be shy about it, do not seek freedom from it, let the righteousness of God control our lives. Righteousness has a destiny, its destiny is heaven, eternal life it is God himself.

Thank you for taking time to read this post, may God bless you as you continue to serve him, in Jesus Name.
