Allah My Motivation
Thanks to @steem-ghana for this contest.

I grew up in a religious home. Islam was what I grew up seeing. I joined the faith and continued the family religion. As kids, we follow what our parents do until we have the minds to understand their wisdom. I grew to understand the Islamic faith and I was grateful to Allah forever blessing me with an Islamic home. I have always known Allah and believe he is everything that matters to me.

He is my motivation. He had been ever since I was a kid. One experience I am sharing today is my Senior School life. Life in T. I. Ahmadiyya wasn’t easy. @njaywan can testify. We paid fees every term and buying books all the time. I am from a home where there it isn’t easy to survive. I attended this school and things were very messy for me. the least fee we could pay a term was GH 400.00. Since my stay in the school, I never held my school fees payment receipt which is full payment. It was always part payment.

I moved from form 1 to form 2 with these pending fees I had to pay. It has always been my night mere because I didn’t know where I could get that money from. I was finally in form 3 and wassce was approaching. I was owning the school for about GH 5000.00. where do I get this money? I remember one time an old friend told me, “Abdul, Come home. Leave school and come and work small at least you will get money to pay part of your fees.” I told him, “Allah’s decree will be done. I know Allah is watching and I will not be disgraced.”

Time passed in form 3. I told my school teachers about my situation. They said I should give them time and we will see what we can do about it. I had hope in Allah. He has always been the reason for my smile. I knew something great was coming. A week to our exams, the accountant of the school called from class and said, “Abdul Wahab Osman, your fees have been helped by some teachers. You are currently owing the school GH 1000. You can go now.” Imagine the joy on my face. The first thing that came out of my mouth was Alhamdulillah (Thanks to Allah). I went on to thank my teachers. I told the friend that told me about working to pay my fees. He was amazed and said, “Abdul, you are a living testimony of believing and it happening. I’m glad I have you.”

I later paid off the GH 1000.00 which allowed me to get my results after wassce. This is what made me hold stronger to Allah. He has always been my source of motivation. He gives me hope when I am going through a difficult time. As he says in his book, the Holy Quran, “Verily there is ease after every difficulty.”

Life struggles can never stop. I have been through situations and I didn't bother myself that much. Because I know I serve a living God and he will attend to me when it’s my time. when I need someone to talk to, I pray and it takes me closer to him, he gives me peace to move on. it will pay out as he said “Believe and whatever you seek you shall get.”
Allah is my savior and will always be. I never think of quitting. I know verily my hard work will pay off I just need to be patient.
