Preparing fish soup with hot wood on a makeshift stove

In eastern Venezuela and many other parts of the country, it is typical to cook a good fish soup with a wood fire as a family; the country atmosphere creates a connection of harmony and synergy that generates enthusiasm and collective collaboration. Everyone is in charge of something because everyone wants to participate in the preparation of the succulent sancocho, as we call it in my region.
