#Club5050 #burnsteem25 | The Diary Game Season 3 (03-30-2023) | Morning Paddies

I am trying my best to walk every day, may it be in the morning or in the afternoon. As a work-from-home employee for more than two years now, I learned that just being stationary is not good for my health and that just 30 minutes of my time walking outside helps with my health, body, and mind. And so, I am trying my very best to be consistent with this.

Bringing my camera with me helps me get motivated in waking up early and walking outside to stroll and enjoy the view. I also get to capture the sun rising from the horizon and getting a sun flare shot is one of my goals as well.

Since we live in a place near rice paddies, it is inevitable to get amazed by how these plants are growing fast. It was not too long ago when they were still being planted. Now, they are almost ready for harvest! Time is running so fast!

Rice is a staple food in the Philippines. We grow rice in many areas and regions of the country yet, we still import rice from other Asian countries too! In a year, rice is planted and harvested 3-4 times and so this view comes and goes. From the rice paddies having zero plants to getting filled with golden rice hanging on the stalks.

It is always magical to wake up to a view like this. Our house is just next to a rice field yet because of the trees that had grown taller this year, the view has been blocked. Not to worry though because soon, we will get that cleared. The land just behind us is now on sale and so sooner or later, we will get the property, God-willing!

In the province, the road gets busy in the morning and in the afternoon when the locals would go out for work every day and children go to school then there will be some hours of a little silence when the motorcycles and vehicles would not pass by this area until its time again for the workers to return home.

Life here is simple but it is very satisfying. As someone who had stayed in Cebu City for more than a decade, I'd prefer the peace and calmness I find seeing trees and nature around me than in a concrete jungle!

Thanks for reading, have a good one and God Bless!

To God be the glory!
