Firstly, I would like to thank you all for all the love that I received on yesterdays post. If you didn’t see it, I definitely recommend taking a look, its one of the most purposeful and creative videos I have put together to date. Now that my gratefulness is out of the way. I would like to dabble a bit on photography. As you all know its a growing passion of mine. I always thought that you needed the perfect location to take a great photo, but thats pure bullshit. These pictures that I shared below have all been taken in the middle of a New York City alley, on a random sidewalk or at the park. Honestly, what seems to matter is the object, and lighting. So don’t waste perfect opportunities to take amazing shots just because you would like everything to be perfect.
Pictures were taken by @spenceryan using a Sony A5100 with a 35mm f/1.8 prime lens. Locations chosen by me.
You are totally right! When I go out on photo shoots, I just walk around cities and random locations and just, photograph. That’s what it’s all about!
These are some great images, well done to both of you. I actually really like the look of the 35mm lens in the close up shots, but of a different effect than the 50mm gives. Love it!
It is, also a lot more natural that way! Although set ups aren’t bad at all.
We really love that 35mm so much, I’m still dying to get a 50mm for my canon 😩
That's right. Location may or may not make the photo beautiful. It all depends on the focus of the photo and little bit of inspiration. A good camera will come in handy of course =D
We actually NEVER see your left eye in none of the photos :-) That's very sexy... remind me of Veronica Lake :)
I see the resemblance in the hair!
am happy you've managed to come up such a nice post thank you
